• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I am someone I can stomach much when I read about it in the media or on SanctionedSuicide. But I currently read scientifical articles about Auschwitz. And it really is bonecrushing.

How very religious people lose their faith when they witnessed how young Nazis used a baby as ball in order to play soccer. Or how a young jewish Baby gets drowned in a dirty toilette. The two Jews only repeated "There is no God" "There is no God". I only read 2 1/2 articles so far and well it is terrifying. But commemoration is so important.

When I was a teenager I played the game Animal Crossing New Leaf. There were so many freedoms like creating your own Designs and there was an online Island to Chat almost uncensored with people around the globe. One could also visit created cities from around the world. And some people created Nazi cities. There were actual concentration Camp cities called either Auschwitz or Dachau. There were also many swastikas and some people put so much effort into the game to create Nazi like designs. It felt so weird to See such cities as teenager. There So many graves and the citizen had the same clothes the concentration Camp inmates had. Really disturbing.

I actually think people who research into things like this are really responsible. I agree. It is important that we learn about these sorts of things to try to ensure they don't happen again. It must be heartbreaking though and, appalling/ sickening. Even what I've seen is kind of burned upon my brain.

We covered both World Wars at school. We even did a field trip to vist graves in Ypres. It was just a sea of tombstones and so many were unknown soldiers. It was awful really. My tutor asked if I was ok and I replied: 'Of course not!' I don't think we should be ok seeing rows upon rows of tombstones or, much worse, seeing footage of bodies being chucked into massive pits in the case of the concentration camps. That's the whole point though- it should be shocking to witness what we're capable of. In the hopes we prevent it in future.

I also agree that the flippant use of Nazi symbols is shocking. Jesus- Nazi Animal Crossing! Were you allowed to import or create your own symbols then? Please don't tell me they had a pre-made swastika emblem!

I remember Prince Harry of the UK once dressed up as a Nazi as fancy dress. Why he thought that was a good idea and why no one questioned him, I've no idea. You can imagine, it didn't go down well.

Maybe it's scarier that people do identify with it. Why do you suppose? Do you think they just ignore the really awful stuff? Do they somehow feel repressed or threatened themselves and like the power side to it? It's scary though. Have you seen 'American History X' 1998?

One could create own Designs. Nintendo would never ever integrate swastika into their games way too family friendly. There were some toxic people in the community.

I actually love American History X. I watched it first as a Teen and showed me how inappropriate Nazi Jokes were that were very common for teenagers in my age. However, do you know some Nazis actually endorse this movie. Because the Main character gets raped for turning his back to naziism. I am not sure how common this Perspective is but I read about it years ago.
