Abolish the ATF?

I was just thinking about this while hearing the fireworks, but why does the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives exist? (the bureau of fun)

I'm not sure if I'd support less gun restrictions if I wasn't so suicidal (Im a decently pretty liberal guy), but I don't want the government getting their grubby hands on my explosives (y'know if I ever had a good reason to have them). Maybe I just want to blow up a bunch of rocks for no reason whatsoever. WHOSE GONNA STOP ME?! on what moral grounds do the feds have to try and meddle in my god given right as an american to carry heavy explosives without an explosvies permit? And I don't trust these people near my alcohol either. Some people just want to have a fun time lighting fireworks and setting explosives while under the influence and theres nothing wrong with that..

The ATF used to be under the IRS until 2003 (now DOJ).

I'd go so far as to say the majority of alphabet agencies need to audited, defunded, and eventually shut down. It's wasteful government bloat that could go to other things. Like peaceful suicide pods.

I don't want people making bombs. I think some level of gun control is reasonable. Tobacco is a killer(I vape, sadly). I think they have purpose. Just my opinion.
