  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

*healthy can be objective, example some people swear against shrooms and others say they do actually help.

1) has anyone successfully quit anything?
if yes,
2) what was it?
3) did you have withdrawal?
if yes,
4) what?
5) how long did it last?
6) how did you cope through it?

im trying to 'reset' my weed addiction and to do that i first have to quit for a while. im curious about other peoples stories. getting past the withdrawal seems almost impossible and honestly kinda scary. the last time i went without for a bit i started having nightmares every time i closed my eyes. :mmm:

Cannabis also,

I have more suicidal ideations then I normally have, no appetite, hysterical crying, unable to sleep, when I can sleep I get night terrors, I'm sort fused, agitated, no motivation (less motivation then my depression induced lack of motivation) , general uncomfortableness and recently I started making this weird wimper sound I'm alone. If someone heard it they would think I'm in pain.

The thing is, I get all these symptoms if I switch to a different strain or lower THC strain. So that's not the best.

I think I'm almost over the hump. It's been about a week. But now all I do is sit and watch the same thing over and over again. Example today I've "watched" the same 20 min YouTube video since 9am. By watched I mean stare blankly at it.

I suck at coping and I suck at keeping busy. They say keeping busy helps.

I don't think want to go back and I've been smoking cannabis for 25+ years. I'm not sure I can have a healthy relationship with Mary Jane any longer. :(

1) has anyone successfully quit anything?
Yes

2) what was it?
I quit alcohol! (Nowadays, I only drink once a week but I used to do it everyday. I just do it while talking to some friends and people from SS on Sats. It's my only pleasure currently)

3) did you have withdrawal?
Yes

4) what?
The first times I just felt tempted all the time and ended up buying booze from a market 1 block away from my flat. Hours felt just eternal and I just couldn't cope with my days. I just had lots of headaches because I couldn't stop thinking about my sad reality if I didn't drink. I just needed to escape to another reality.

5) how long did it last?
About 1 month and a half.

6) how did you cope through it?

I just tried to do quit booze over and over again.
After drinking everyday for ages, I did my best to start drinking 6 days a week, then 5, then 4 and so on.
