  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

6 months ago, my life was terrible. I was drinking myself to numb my anxiety, couldn't sleep, stopped eating and washing. I really went down the pan.
One day, I remember drinking 5 bottles of red wine.
It was sheer hell.
But little by little, I started to slowly, and I mean slowly, get a little better. I started off by just forcing myself to wash and shower and I began to eat a bit again.
I then said to myself that I would wait until after Christmas. Then I ordered SN.
It came, no problem.
But now it's March and I have noticed that I feel better than I did at Christmas.
I still feel suicidal a few times a day, but nothing like the intensity of September or October.
Maybe suicide really is a final solution to a temporary problem.
As long as the problem isn't awful health or something like that, I'm believing that things can get better, but it will take time.

I'm pleased for you that things improved. I think you posted this in the wrong section of the forum, there is a specific section for recovery. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

I'm happy to hear you're doing better. I wish you the best in recovery. Maybe having to crawl out of such a low place will help you be able to help others.

I think it is good that such a post is in the Suicide section - here it will reach more people who otherwise would not have seen it due to avoiding the Recovery section.

Glad that your situation has improved @matt6callis :) from someone on 'the other side' as you now - it's harder than it seems, remember to be proud of yourself that you've come this far whenever you get down on yourself. Good on you for taking those steps away from deterioration and toward a healthier and happier future you. Wish you all the best and take care, mate.
