Again at the psychiatrist

On Monday I have an appointment with a new psychiatrist, after years without going to one, the main reason is insomnia, I am getting worse and need help.

I will also discuss my serious problems with socializing and my suspicions that I may have Asperger's.

I am very nervous the truth.

I sleep appallingly due to various things. Went for six months with less than 1 to 2 hours a night.
People have also been keen to diagnose me with Asperger's.

I already went to that appointment, they are going to send me a different medication while they do more tests.

I have also told him about my problems to socialize, I have always believed that I could have Asperger, and it is curious that without telling him about my suspicions of being able to have Asperger, he has started asking me questions about symptoms typically of the syndrome, most likely, I will receive a diagnosis on Asperger.

A diagnosis will not change anything, nor is it curable, but at least I would like to have an answer to many things about how I am.

Mirtazapine 30mg is good for sleep. Its not addictive. But makes a little nervous.
Im thinking about going to one for referal for therapy

The psychiatrist will throw everything in the book at you in terms of diagnosis and medication. Just tell them to give you some xanax so you can feel good and walk out of there. I hate psychiatrists, drugdealers are more truthful and ethical to be honest.

My psychiatrist has told me that with a 99% certainty, I am autistic (asperger) they will do some tests to confirm it and have a solid diagnosis.

Thank you for keeping us posted! I'm glad you've gotten confirmation about what's been going on. Hopefully they have some suggestions on how to manage things. And hopefully you finally get some good rest eventually. Being part of the insomnia club is hellish.
