• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

    As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

It appears that this was done by mistake and has been reversed by Google. It may take a few hours for you to stop seeing those warnings.

    If you're still getting these warnings, please let a member of staff know.

I am alone at home, my relatives are just gone to a family reunion including my mom, I feel better when I'm alone since I live with my mom my aunt my cousins and their children but I feel great when they are all gone since I have freedom to cook, to be in living room, to do whatever and feel comfortable at my own home I agree that when I get sick I need help of my mom and sometimes from them just to reach a clinic because I don't have a car but I wouldn't matter to die lonely just to live alone and feel comfortable staying in all parts of the house because when people are here the only part I feel nice is my own room and the back of house hopefully some day in my life I will be able to move to a room or even alone in my house :) even if that means I'll die lonely

It sounds like you have been able to make a sort of "fortress of solitude" for yourself. This can be a great survival skill. However, you may want to slowly experiment with adding to your skill set. If you can discover ways to deal with people, perhaps simple encounters first, you might be able to build on that to navigate the social world to your benefit as well.

You might classify people as;

10% dangerous
20% exploitive
30% vapid and superficial
39% well intentioned
1% interesting

Developing the skills to avoid 1,2, and 3 as well as enjoy 4 can allow you to discover number 5. These are those smarter and wiser than us from whom much can be learned. Few of these have any college exposure as college seems to have harmful effects beyond simple pride.

How can I start to classify them? I prefer alone time so I can't deal so much with people or my responses are kinda weird

Sometimes just observation is enough to begin to size things up. For example, hearing someone tell you about easy payments or how great you are, you may suspect an exploiter. If you see some go out of their way to help someone else, it might be an indicator of someone worth knowing.
