As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

You too :)thank you, friend. best of luck and may you find peace.
Are we talking less harmful ways or just different ways to hurt yourself?
i still do this sometimesWhen I was younger, I used to just... punch my head. It sounds super stupid now, but if I did it enough I got a dizzy rush.. Obviously didn't do it in front of anyone either.
(that's my weird input for the day)
When you experience physical pain you get a rush of endorphins to counteract the feeling, so in a way it almost feels nice. It's not done to make us suffer more, it feels good and detracts from the emotional numbness that some of us feel.Whats the point in self harm? I never get that. Why hurt yourself when you are already hurt? I don't know but some people find solace in it. I'd say that if you are so distressed that you want to self harm, then just catch the bus. Life isn't THAT "beautiful a journey" to do self-harm with the intention of finding a small lump of peace.

Very true. When you experience physical pain you get a rush of endorphins to counteract the feeling, so in a way it almost feels nice. It's not done to make us suffer more, it feels good and detracts from the emotional numbness that some of us feel.
For those of us who aren't ready to or don't have the opportunity to CTB, self harming can be a way of getting through the day as a distraction
