You have multiple choices to choose from. Just remember, some choices are more painful than others.
I'm not well informed on partial suspension, but a belt seems to be a well-regarded option.
People have done it with belts, electrical cords, even shoelaces. But hanging is hard enough with a proper rope...

A scarf can work. You just have to be sure it can handle your weight if you're going for suspension hang.

Bedsheets are another thing people use to hang with, but trying to tie them might be a challenge.
