  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Lately i always wants to sleep. It's a constant sensation, even if i rested good. In the last 2 weeks i have to sleep in the middle day and / or at afternoon or i can't do anything the rest of day. Also, i sleep the same ammount of time at night, so i doubt that can be the problem. I know that sleep may be a symptom of depression, but it's not like my mood is worse than usually,,, Any idea of what can be?

If you don't think it's because of depression then I don't know what it could be. You are saying your symptoms are not worse so you don't know why this sleeping thing started now, but maybe it could be because some symptoms of depression show up later, your depression might be the same as always but sleeping can start later into depression. I have it too sometimes. Sometimes I can't sleep no matter what for long periods of time and sometimes even though I slept enough time the night before I feel so sleepy during the day that I have to take a nap because I can't go on with the day if I don't.

If this experience had a distinct starting point (such as two weeks ago), it may be useful to consider something else that might have changed at the same time. For example, diet, stress at work or school, relationship conditions, environmental conditions, or medication. Shift work can also mess up sleep patterns.

Has your daily routine changed at all? Personally, even small changes can make me feel kind of mentally tired and then I want to sleep more.

You say you sleep the same amount of time during the night, but do you feel like your quality of (night) sleep has become worse, or is it also the same?

Yes, i've changed a my diet enough to consider that's the problem. I'll see what happens if i return to the previous.

Same here... I sleep a lot and I have to make an effort not to sleep even more. Being unconscious is better than dealing with my life... I have no problem with it, except that if I sleep too much, the next night I stay awake longer tossing and turning, so my sleep schedule is pretty bad.

Same to my sister. Nobody knows what is wrong, everyone thinks it is her since they checked everything and nothing. :\

I feel the exact same way. It's difficult to muster up the energy to do anything else. Though the other day I had a dream that mimicked the reality of my misery and I woke up crying.
