  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hey guys. I just wanted to ask a quick question. I share a room with someone at our uni's residence. She plays music and videos the whole day, and sometimes at night too. She plays it at normal-level, and sometimes at a very loud level. Is it weird for me to be annoyed by this? I sometimes wish I could nap in the afternoon, but I can't because she is busy playing her stuff. I also cannot study in our room at all, because I require a quiet space in order to study. I only feel better when she is asleep or when she is not here, which rarely happens. I have asked her to turn it down multiple times, and even reported her. She still does it. Am I expecting too much? Mind you, I always have my earpods on when I am listening to something.

Nope. You are not obliged to share your roommate taste in music and vids or be in the same mood for them. I'd say it's rude for your roomie to force you to listen anything and ignore your requests.

Well, that's not weird at all. I am in a similar situation, people don't have respect for others at all and it's kinda sad. No, you are not expecting too much

This is quite disturbing. She shouldn't be playing music like that.

Thank you, guys! I just wanted to get your opinions on this. I am glad you guys agree that it is not okay for her to do this.
