Recently there was an intervew with her. It is kind of embarrassing how the German chancellors behave. Like Gerhard Schröder is an embarrassment for the whole country. He is best buddy with Putin and gets paid for it. It is a shame.
Maybe the sentence of the title is a little bit exaggerated. But she said something like she does not regret anything. She knew from the start that Putin wanted to destroy Europe.

Yeah Angela why have you ever been a supporter of Nordstream 2 then???

And damn Scholz is arrogant and acts childish. I still like him the most of all of these 3. But Germany really shows that we are not a reliable partner. And then we pretend like we would spend 2% for military. It is a joke! Our defence secretary is a catastrophe. They will waste the money for nothing.

They can't be honest and admit mistakes. Historians won't forget your mistakes. (towards all 3 of them)

It really hurts to be living in such a historical period, when political leaders should make courageous and far sighted decisions, and instead just act like cowards, or straight up collaborate with the worst that the world has to offer. Italy is full of this. When we'll go to elections next year, 2/3 of the votes will go to parties that are, to say the least, really ambigous towards their condemnation of Russia's actions. I really can't stand being part of this.
