• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Kind of a weird concept, but I'm starting to get annoyed that being suicidal doesn't kill you on its own. There are people here who are like "I've been suicidal for the last 45 years" or something and it's just like....you existed for 45 years feeling most days or every day like you wanted to die and you simply didn't die? I hate that so much, I wish that being "done with life" actually made you done with life in the literal sense, if that makes sense. There are people who DO die of "giving up" but it's in extreme cases such as concentration camps, slavery, etc, and even then...I'm sure it doesn't happen to the majority of people.

I wish that this happened to me because there's no way for me to actually access a way to kill myself

If you want to die you have to work hard. It will cost sacrifice, planning and many times pain. Nothing is easy in this life, not even leaving.

I'm thinking how is it possible that every night I pray to god to kill me but yet the next day I wake up. I'd trade my "gift" of living with any one who has desire for life and dies at young age by accident or disease or in service of his country.

Agreed. If thinking about dying would make it happen, then I would be dead already!

Same! And you're expected to go through life like that...I did a death calculator and it said I was only halfway through life. My grandma smoked like a million packs a day and ate nothing but high-calorie fatty foods and died at 70 which is unreal. My great-grandma lived into her 80's. I can't handle the possibility.

Agreed! In addition to that, no one guarantees success. Even if well planed and a lot of pain involved in the process.

In no way am I reaching my 70's. I must leave soon! I'm 57. Surviving so far was a miracle, more like fake it till you make it. But that is all over now. I got a plan B that if things get so bad and I wont find a peaceful enough way Ill just jump and hope to die. It might be as soon as the next few days.

Yeah I feel the same and I'm younger! I hope you find what you're looking for. At least jumping is foolproof so long as it's from a high enough distance.

This is unfortunately true and all of the obstacles come from other humans making it difficult to leave. It could have been easy if they just legalised euthanasia but nope

Thanks! I've only got access to 9th floor 26 meters but am working on techniques to reduce chances of landing feet first.

I understand as all I hope for is to permanently cease existing, I just wish to never suffer ever again in this existence, I wish to just simply die in peace with this cruel, torturous existence finally no longer my problem. It really feels like I've suffered so much for so long in this existence I never would have wished for and it terrifies me how the suffering can continue for much longer just to be tortured by old age with no limit as to how much agony one can feel, non-existence truly is all that's desirable for me.

How old are you? What was the death calculator?
It is crazy how the body persists in living no matter how much the mind wants to die. We should be able to control our bodily functions with our will but the body is a separate entity with its own agenda.

I used to hope if I only willed it enough, it would happen. Sometimes, I'd cry so intensely, my heart would feel weird- palpitations maybe. I thought maybe that would do it but- no. I think most of the time, it requires other physical effort. I suspect those in slavery stopped eating or drinking. I think you probably can die of a broken heart. Sometimes with elderly couples, one will die shortly after the other but, I suspect they already have a lot of health issues. Maybe that shock is enough to do it for them.

But yeah, I definitely don't think praying works. I've known very devout relatives pray out loud to God but, they were just left to suffer.
