• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I'm planning to ctb w/ sn but am worried about having bad anxiety. Unfortunately I don't have access to any benzos.

I'm thinking trazodone which I take as a sleep aid may help. Any other suggestions for something to help with relaxation but not affecting the process much?

Antidepressants work on a longer term basis and not as acute sedatives. I do not think it will help.

Beta blockers will help with acute physical symptoms. Propranolol is widely used as a first line treatment for short term anxiety.

Specifically it will mitigate the tachycardia from SN ingestion. Unfortunately as it is not a sedative it will not provide anxiolytic effects in the brain. I think you'd just be looking at benzos for the mental effects of anxiety.

You need to work harder. This is never easy. There are ways to get things like diazepam, just gotta be resourceful.

Sorry you're in such a bad place. Sometimes during the effort and time it takes to get these things we change our minds 🤞

I appreciate the reply and your thoughts. It's been one helluva past year and I'm just done.

Getting into this group took time and effort. So did finding DMC and getting it ordered. I spent hours going to multiple urgent care's and pushed to get an iffy antiemetic prescribed. Docs have wanted to direct me back towards my PCP who knows I'm bipolar and have attempted before. Therefore he's very careful with what he prescribes. I know because I've tried.

Do you have any other ideas as far as resourcefulness goes?

I hear you. I'm in the same boat. Lost everything in march. Wife, kids, home, job. Due to be evicted from the sh*tty room I rent end of January then will be living in my car. Savings run out then too so wont even be able to keep the car much longer.

Have you tried asking for help sleeping? I told the doc my anxiety was keeping me awake for night after night (not actually a lie) and he prescribed sleeping pills. Not ideal but if I take the whole lot then drink SN as I'm starting to feel groggy I think I'll ko for the worst of it.

Quite lucky as found dopamine inhibiting anti emmetics online here in the UK.

Also docs might prescribe diazepam if you request it and say you have a friend who benefitted from it. It's addictive but you can't OD so if their fear is suicidal ideation not drug use you might have some luck.

It takes some lateral thought, lying and shrewdness.

Hope you find a way out of this and back to a more positive place though. You have family who'd be affected?
