• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I was hoping i'd never actually have to make a thread, but i'm in abit of a pickle.

I now have my N, but pretty certain all 3 of my orders of meto have been thrown out at customs.

In the cupboard from my chemo times I have -
6x 5mg - Prochlorperazine maleate/stemetil
10x 8mg - Ondansetron wafers

Is there anyone that knows wether I could somehow use these in some way instead??

Prochlorperazine works on the same receptors as meto. Some even say it is more potent than meto. which increases the risk of extrapyramidal symptoms, that's why it is not recommended. but, if you dont have access to meto, this would do a good job.

Ondansetron is a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. It can be used in combination with Stemetil to further enhance the anti-emetic effect.

Thanks JD1, I know the ppeh states 60mg as a stat dose for N. I wonder what sort of stat dose of those 2 would be on par with that. So much guess work for my small brain!!

Recommended stat dose for ondansetron is 8-16 mg...But, I have taken as much as 40 mg...also, I read several articles where a suicide victim, took 40mg of ondansetron and successfully caught the bus.

There is not much information available on prochlorperazine. However, the recommended dose for treatment of nausea and vomiting is 20mg. But, if you have more and you can handle the side effects, I would suggest taking more. If you can get your hands on some Diphenhydramine, It would help relieve the extrapyramidal symptoms, if you develop any. note, that only some people develop extrapyramidal symptoms not everyone.
