• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Still haven't decided if i'm gonna do it or not but...

Is there any way I can make it less horrible for my family to find my body? I would have to kill myself at home, since I am housebound due to a disability. Would probably be using a method involving something round my neck to block the carotid arteries.

If I do it (at a time when everyone else is out for a while) then what would happen is after a while somebody would think maybe they should check on me and they'd just find me lying dead with something round my neck. And a note lying out too, telling them the unlock code for my phone so that they can find my proper suicide note there (I can't write much by hand due to disability).

Is there anything I can do to make it less traumatic for them to find?

Unless you find a way to book a hotel, someone in your family will find your body and go in shock. You will not know how abhorrent you will look - no matter what method you decide on - and it will most likely traumatize them. My advice to you would be to let the person who you are least closest to find your body, other ways there is no other options given your circumstances.

I live in a place where it is possible a parent may find me as they have access to where I live.

To mitigate this possibility, I will leave signage and notes saying not to enter the room where I am and instead to call a 'first responder'.

Whether my parent then chooses to enter will be entirely up to them.
