• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

One major aspect of what went wrong for me while young was not being educated properly about anything that actually mattered once I got out into the world. Anybody else feel they were hurt by public schools?

Kindergarten was good. After that just busy work. An entire youth wasted sitting behind brick walls.

I failed public school. Pre-School and Primary School was awesome until I hit 4th standard. Then when I went to Jr and Snr Seconday School I was bullied. Then I went to trade school to which I was bullied more. Finally went back to school privately and passed all my subjects. School was basically a place to teach you how to be a bitch boy for work and society. It never was about teaching you but testng you to see how you could handle situations, problems and society. It's utter bullshit.

They tried to make me go to the public school and I refused it. That assholes didn't givee life for ruining it (more) and I convinced them to go to a "decent" school.

Not very related comment: the school was that made me notice how awful life is.

My school years were like: "Yeah, learn this".

Of course, sir...

Holy shit. I can't even fathom the amount of time I've wasted in that hellhole.

I've started learning for my personal interest (and for real, not just preconceived notions) only when I eventually got out of that place

School is a scam, they don't teach you anything useful, its entire purpose is to make you into an obedient wageslave. Get up early, do what you're told, don't question anything, respect stupid rules and authorities. Be like everyone else.

I always thought it's bullshit and I refused to attend classes which caused me a lot of problems. I was bullied for being quiet and "weird", even by the teachers. My anxiety got worse, I was really depressed and wanted to hang myself at 16. At 17 I just stopped going and got kicked out.
I feel like I've spend 10 years in prison, the trauma still lingers to this day...

Nah. My future would have been trash regardless of studying in private or public schools.

To me, going to school is really depressing for 2 reasons:

I'm forced to learn things I'm not interested in, so I have these pervasive thoughts about how I could have done something more pleasurable with all that wasted time;

I have no friends in school (or in general actually), and I hate the people I'm forced to spend hours with. they're so shallow, I eventually started isolating myself and stopped talking and school became more bearable.

Yes. School is just one of many symptoms. The cause however is life. Existence by itself. This universe seems to be designed to maximize the suffering of any and all life forms. Just take a hard real look at nature, observe the world. Open your eyes and you will understand the hell we are in.

I remember standing at the edge of the playground away from the other kids, feeling like a reject. It was right around the time just after being sexually abused. The following year in 4th grade. I was very shut down and not well. I was a fatigued, tired kid. I got sick a lot in public school. I wasn't unhealthy I was just starting to struggle with the effects of my home life and the deprivation in public school. I became aware then that nobody actually cared what was happening to me. Those public school teachers saw that I was struggling but u know. They don't truly give a shit about the kids in that prison.

That's one of the reasons why I become who I am, not really being able to accept myself. I was getting bullied by group of guys. Wasn't really nice... I hated school cause of that.

The only thing I got out of going to public school was being molested and bullied.

Does anybody actually use half the shit they teach you after graduating?

I think the point is just to start numbing the masses to prepare them for the work force. Dumb them down and get them used to long hours of nothingness.

Molest sexually or physically. It's probably semantics but there is actually a definition of molest that involves just to come in contact with. Very archaic.

Sexually. I had multiple boys grope me throughout. I had to inform the principal of it eventually. I was raped as a child so I never really learned to stand up for myself in those situations. I felt almost apathetic, even though really it was just accelerating the corrosion.

The grass can appear greener on the other side. I've been to both public and private schools (got transferred to private when I was almost a teenager) and I'll say this much of my experience:
-the private school was better maintained and had newer equipment
-both taught a whitewashed version of history that was borderline propaganda
-aside from the basics both taught loads of impractical nonsense that you forgot about some time after the test/assignment
-both forced you to scuttle around from one class to another when the bell rang at regular intervals
-you still had to sit down and passively learn crap in both
-the private primary then secondary schools I went to were Christian, so I also had to deal with their religious nonsense
-the kids at the private schools were unsurprisingly from more wealthy backgrounds, but there was still plenty of bullying, exclusive cliques, popularity contests and other nonsense that I tried to stay out of

Granted I only went to what were considered "decent" private schools in the area, and while they certainly had much more resources to play with than the public school I went to before they still had many similarities.

I suppose above the regular or decent private schools you also have the incredibly expensive and exclusive "elite" schools but of course those are only available to a tiny handful of wealthy and well-connected people.

EDIT: screw it I'll add this too. The girls in their uniforms at the private schools looked hot as hell, especially in the winter when they wore stockings. So I suppose apart from better equipment the private schools had that going for them as well ^.^

Primary school effed me up socially because I was bullied around the clock for eight years. Thisis the reason why I developed social anxiety disorder and why I have no friends.
High school was so effing boring and I didn't have time for anything, it was way too stressful and I haven't learned anything interesting or useful.

It had an effect on my future for sure. Luckily in the last 2 or 3 years i had friends that where all big and had influence so the bullying quickly went away. I was lucky
