  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I'm on zoloft and effexor for social anxiety and depression, I feel like all it does is numb my brain. Does anybody have any experience where they actually feel better on medication? Please share.

Yes, as I have been on Celexa for about 10 years, and I feel that it helps so that I am not down in the dumps all the time. I also have BPD major league, and without some type of chemical to try and stabilize me, I wonder if the BPD would be so bad and put of control that it might do me in.

I've been on bupropion for a few months now. I think it makes it less severe but its hard to tell without stopping to see how I feel off of it.

Imo ssri's are fraudulent poison. Bupropion is acceptable but also numbing.

Focus on nutrition, sunlight, sleep, exercise, relationships, etc. How would you rate yourself on those?

Sunlight governs all your neurotransmitter levels.

Yes. I've been on Lexapro for like 20 years for anxiety without issue. I was diagnosed 3 years ago with Bipolar 2. The depression is like nothing I could imagine. It took a long time and countless meds/doses but seems to be working. I currently take Lexapro, Lamotrigine and Lithium.

Ohh yes absolutely. Without therapy and medication I probably wouldn't be here. It's a shame that there is no "one fits all" kind of medication tho.

That being said, it is normal to try and it not working as preferred but there are many to choose from. I know it can be very exhausting but medication not working doesn't indicate that you are a lost cause. I hope things work out for you and you find why you are looking for!

I'm on prozac and have been taking it for a while but all it did was make me numb, it doesn't help with my anxiety and my panic attacks at all but all the doctor says is "wait it out, the results will come soon" but it has been so long. I don't even get my dosage raised because my doctor refuses to do that.

It's interesting that doctors still prescribe old meds from 1970x despite appearing of newer generations. I wonder if this is a reasonable choice or they are just not aware of all available tactics of treatment.
