Anybody suffer with addiction problems?

My main addiction has been to adderall, but I have other ones that are behavioral as well. Taking out the Adderall has definitely helped but now there's other ones I have to kick Trying to do this with little support is very hard. No I can't afford treatment or therapy although if I make myself poor enough than I might be able to qualify for Medicaid. Lol!

I'm an alcoholic but have been easing up on my drinking. I drink once every 6 days now. I got hammered last night. It's such a burden to crave that shit all the time. I use to pop xanaxes until I ran out then went though severe withdraws until my next prescription. Holy shit they were horrible. Then I slowly dialed back to the dose I am suppose to take.

World of Warcraft addict here. You might think playing a game is not going cause any problems but you are wrong. I pay $15 monthly for the airtime and buy a lot of in-game items. I think I have financial issues lol Not to mention lot of toxic people there XD also my depression went up sky high just because I fell for a guy in game (we talked and shit for four months but ending was too painful) lol which also caused me a lot of pain in real life. I am better than I was but still play the game everyday. Rip me.

I play WoW too! Though I'm definitely not an addict; I go days without playing just because I "don't have the energy" etc. And it's totally over $16 a month now counting taxes. :X

I used to buy mounts and stuff with real $$ (I'm pretty sure I bought the dark phoenix flying mount back in the day? I *think* it was bought...) and I bought game time with real $$ to sell for gold on the AH because I like being rich on WoW even though I totally can't afford it in RL because I'm on SSI lol. I only did it once though (only need to like once!) and sold for like 196K gold! It was at a peak then I guess. It's more like 119K now. Still. I like being rich, it opens up my options a lot more (I also sell tons of shit on the AH it seriously takes me like 3 hours every 2 days to re-list everything that didn't sell before but thank GOD for Auctioneer). I started playing just before BC came out, then quit after Pandaria came out (leveled a panda monk - Ironically the same sn as my sn here - to 90 - the cap then - then got bored with end game stuff and quit for like 7 years. Just started playing again in June.

I was never big on WoW, but I played lots of MMOs back in the 00s. I was more into the cute ones like Ragnarok, Trickster Online and Maple Story. It can definitely become an addiction, yeah. I spent hundred of hours playing these games.

To be fair, I wish they were still around. I wouldn't mind playing them for hours straight everyday. There are no MMOs of my liking these days. I did play A Realm Reborn: Final Fantasy XIV for about 100 hours, though, so there is that.

Have you guys ever played Book of Heroes for phone? It's like MMO-lite and has the same basic characteristics of MMO's (guilds, leveling, dungeons, raids, dailies, weekies, quests, etc). I enjoy it. I like my guild a lot. We're all DYING for some new content though.

I was on Frostmourne (PvP) before and then BFA came so, there is no WPvP anymore. Every server is now PvE unless you turn Warmode on. To be honest, I love PvP server but I also love PvE hahahaha.

Good for u, hold out for a guy who really cares. There are good ones but you have to meet them in the right context. Not bars and night clubs or online dating apps. Because men are more conditioned to get sex without investment in us it's actually gotten harder for women. I mean women like me have not helped matters by being promiscuous. Once they invented birth control and sort of turned women into men by urging us that we need careers and to be less dependent on men. This kind of altered how men behave. Especially the taking sex out of the context of marriage. Sorry went off on a tangent.

Iv been smoking cigarettes and weed since I was a teen and I thought I knew what addiction was but i had no idea until i got hooked on benzos. At first They made all my problems fade away so I kept taking more in higher dose. long story short after 2 years of being on them on such on high doses they messed my head up bad, I couldn't even think straight at the time, looking back it feels like i was somebody else. I managed to quit them but the withdrawals sucked, one of the hardest things I'v ever done was quitting them pills.

I was addicted to weed, porn and junk food, tried to stop a bunch of times. Only managed to stop when I had problems in my relationship and felt like I was loosing the only thing that was going close to alright in my life. Then I realized how much needed to stop, and I felt great for a few months once I stopped.
Unfortunately it didn't last long, more shit happened, and now my mental health is worse than ever. I'm coming to the realization that I'm addicted to sex and I might become addicted to alcohol, although I'm doing my best to control it.

I relapsed to Adderall because I couldn't tolerate how different life is sober. I realize I can't ever get off without goin through like a three month treatment program. I do have other stuff goin on besides just addiction so that has to be dealt with before I could successfully give up the adderall. It's not hard to come off and make it like a month sober, well kind of. It's dealing with everything else sober and being more sensitive once u come off. Your normal emotions and come back and even though I was more stable in my moods slightly, it's like I had no structure, and felt more empty. I didn't know how to cope with the slowed down time. I couldn't get myself to do things that are really pressing and hate doing.
