Anyone else have dreams related to suicide

Hello, I have noticed that a re-occurring theme in my dreams is one consisting of me trying to kill myself and then having people try to stop me against my will. Another theme is being in a ward and being unable to get out, as well as most of the staff brushing off my ideas and beliefs. I'm curious to know whether you guys also experience similar dreams and what you think about them.

I had a dream of peacefully dying, another one where I shot myself and was in hell, and one where someone else killed themselves with a knife to the throat. Drains one's life... I don't know what the reason for those dreams is now... But ever since I'm ready to die, my dreams have been getting more and more fucked up.

Yes absolutely. I have so many dreams about death. I also dream about trauma I have from childhood to adulthood. Tons of paranoid dreams. Lot of dreams involve myself, or a projection of myself, being murdered.

I have had multiple dreams of suicide. The ones I can remember have been:

Me and my best friend (partner at the time) ran away from a cottage to this tall minecraft dirt tower (don't ask how my brain thought of this) with a ladder which we climbed to the top of and jumped from to die.

Me trying to escape my family to be able to commit suicide but we were in a swimming pool changing room that was made to be like a maze (don't know why my brain thought of this as well)

I have really strange dreams.

I dreamt of drowning after jumping into a shallow pond, it was peaceful but definitely not realistic.
In other dreams I'd be krilled by other people, with two dreams having 'died' from the bullet in head disease, one after getting chased down then sacrificed by a little boy with a dagger.

dreaming is nice because when it simulates real life scenarios, I get to discover how I'd react in those situations
it's pretty realistic

I only ever had one I think. In the dream (well more like nightmare) I was just walking in my town when I saw my ex girlfriend on a date with someone, I immediately hanged myself and woke up feeling distressed.

Almost all my nightmares are some terrifyingly cruel and grotesque scenario in which I can't help others or escape and every action leads to further horror. But strangely enough, suicide has never been a theme in any of them as far as I can recall.

Only once that I can remember. I was going to hang myself and this bus driver kept following me around to talk me out of it. I got so mad I woke up lol

I have only had one dream about suicide where actual suicide clinics existed. You could go and pay for someone to inject you and you would die. Our collective dream, right? Yeah, in my dream I chickened out. I woke up crying. My subconscious hates me.

Sorry this is a bit late - i made a post about this too the other day so your definitely not alone. Ive not been able to sleep without thinking of myself dying - normally suicide. I dont know why i genuinely cannot sleep without jt anymore. Ill think about different ways of doing it, peoples reactions. I dont know why it comforts me but oh well

I get dreams about attempting once in a while, but not as nightmares or pleasant dreams, just regular passing ones. Most of them involve me jumping from various places, mostly buildings or skyscrapers. Jumping has been a method I had considered, but it's not my main.

Unfortunately, I get more dreams about being locked in a ward post suicide attempt and abused to varying degrees there.

The only really bad one was the one where it seemed like I was in hell, even had a cold sweat which I never had before from dreams. The rest is more like things happening and not having any reaction until you wake up. But yeah, not really nice to begin with xD
