  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I've been taking them all last year and at first they really helped I became massively more active and outgoing but after a while it started to rocket up and far down almost like a manic depressive.

Just curious if I'm the only one on this site taking this drug for depression?

I tried it, but it didn't work for me. My doctor switched me to Viibryd and I love it.

I'm been taking it for 3 months or so. I've have had a similar experience, with it somewhat helping at first, but now just exclusively causes awful lows. It's honestly made me feel worse, and I'm going to switch to something else as soon as I have the option.

I was on Sertraline for approximatively 10 months. It was hell, (tho I want to push the fact that it's only my point of view and that if it worked for you I'm happy!!) My doctor never told me about what side effect I could have with this medication, I gained twenty pounds. And to my teenage mindset it was crushing. It did help a little for my depression a.k.a it gave me boost of energy. But since I mainly took it for my anxiety, didn't help much.

I'm on sertraline for year and 9 months. At the beginning it was awful I even cannot get out of the bed, i layed all day, but after half year of taking i started to feel myself better. I guess that it was either postscizophrenic depression that lasted for 1-1,5 year as it often lasts, or maybe drugs helped me and now I feel better. It removed fully my suicidal thoughts that were very heavy and obsessive, but I gained weight, 10 kilograms and I'm trying now to lose it.
