For those who don't know, Non-24-Hour Sleep Wake Disorder is a sleep disorder where your circadian rhythm is longer than 24 hours. In practice this means that if you were allowed to sleep naturally with no alarm clocks, you would wake up and go to sleep at a different time everyday, essentially running in a cycle. So for a simplified example, if yesterday I went to bed at midnight and woke up at 10am, today I'll go to bed at 2am and wake up at 12pm, tomorrow I'll go to bed at 4am and wake up at 2pm, etc. etc. I suspect that I have N24 but it has not been officially diagnosed.
Do any of you also think you might have N24, or alternatively, delayed sleep phase disorder (DSPD)? I also suspect that people with N24 or DSPD have higher incidences of depression...
