OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. Though maybe I should mention I'm more of a book guy than a cinephile, so I'm kind of picky about what I like in this medium.
I do like sci-fi, though I think the post apocalyptic genre is a bit saturated these days.

Leaps (or rather Leaps' boyfriend) recommended Titan. I haven't seen Titan.
I was thinking that if you haven't watched much TV in the last decade or so, and like breezy comedies, "The Office" and "Parks and Rec" would take you 180 degrees away from serial killers and vile murderers, but maybe those don't suit your taste.
I don't have any sci-fi recs other than Black Mirror. But keep asking, as I'm sure there are plenty of others around here who can recommend some good sci-fi you might enjoy.
