• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Broke. I've lived check to check almost my whole life.

Made a lot of money, blew a lot of money. I would be rich if I didn't have addictions. Hundreds of thousands down the drain.

I'm good financially. My uncle and I are both on SSI for pretty much the same thing, and my aunts got a good paying job.

Define rich?

I'm in the middle not rich enough to go jetting off anywhere every week but have enough money to not worry what I spend as such...

Although addictions have cost me over the years gambling / drugs. Only things which use to get my heart racing/ help me escape but the stakes just keep going higher trying to chase that initial buzz.

Depends on how you look at it, I'm dirt poor monetary wise, but rich in experiences and lessons learned.

Assuming the OP meant monetary value but Yeah can agree with you on the experience level and lessons. Man I feel old for my age !

Good thing about most experiences there either cheap or free! I prefer to spend money on experiences these days than throwing it away after all our time is limited.

I'm doing better now. Made decent profit off the house and downsized to an apartment in the city like a 2 min walk away from my new higher paying job and walking distances to everything.

Prior to wanting to top myself in June I was living in a small suburb 40 mins away from the city and working as an assistant manager in another suburb which paid lower and I worked more hours, getting there and back in a gas hungry car, living paycheck to paycheck.

My pitiful failed attempt at ending myself woke me up.

Oh so broke. I was dependent on credit cards for years while I waited for my social security case to be battled in court and now I'm $24k in the hole for credit cards and $60k in the hole for student loans. I get $9k a year from SSI. Not a chance. Finally signed up with a National Debt Relief program where basically you pay a flat fee into a "savings account" (for the lack of a better term) and they argue it out with your creditors to try to get the amt paid back lessened (they'd rather have some money than have me bankrupt and no monkey). It will destroy my so-so credit score, and I will be called by creditors every day but it was the only thing I could think of.

I'm trying to get my student loans forgiven on terms of total and permanent disability (https://disabilitydischarge.com/ to those in the US) and I'm desperately hoping it gets approved. In the meantime I'm on an Income Contingent Plan where they decide how much you pay per month based on your income and since mine is so low it's always $0. But I'm still accruing interest.

ETA oh and I still owe my attorney about $1k (out of $2.5k) from my SSI case (I didn't get backpay) which I pay $50 a month toward.

ETA 2 my dad and step mom are rich as hell but have never offered to help. My mom helps a little but she's definitely lower middle class and can't afford much. All the grandparents on my dad's side (they're divorced and remarried) are super rich too. Mom's parents definitely aren't they live on their social security pension.

I consider myself just getting by but certainly not thriving financially. I have student loan debt I had stopped paying years ago. My retirement plan is ctb.

I used to have money and my own place but self destructive behavior and hypo mania screwed my finances and now I'm gonna be living on streets soon.

Broke. Barely making ends meet. Rely on government benefits. Haven't been able to move out of home or own a car for these reasons for years now. I work casually. A full time job would make it harder on me to schedule in CTB. 5 days a week? No thanks I say.

Im sorry if they expect you to make your own wealth. That's harsh. Another reason I'm anti-capitalism.

Mind if i ask, when you say they're rich; how much is that?? Lol.
What's the limit they give you?

At least you haven't grown up poor or on government assistance. Peace.
