Of course you will rarely go through a lifetime without experiencing setbacks.
The sheer amount of setbacks will however vary enormously.
A stochastic process if I've ever seen one.
The concept of being fucked is not binary, there is a long, gliding scale of fuckedness.

Yes, I agree 100%. Nevertheless everybody gets fucked, unless you die young. I'm not saying they will be fucked in a proportional amount or anything. Anyway, I don't think revenge is worth the effort.

BUT, I'm only talking about relatively minor stuff. If I'd been physically/sexually abused, then I'd probably want to exact revenge.
