• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Holding Yourself Back Test

Results:

Result chart
You are significantly holding yourself back (74.29%).

Explanation of Traits:

Getting Stressed is synonymous with poor stress management and stress coping skills. People who are easily stressed out often have trouble juggling the many overlapping tasks and chores life throws at them. They may be held back as they expend their energy struggling with stress, making it hard for them to buckle down or focus.

Self-criticism can be described as the tendency to always blame oneself when things go badly; feeling that one is cursed with bad luck or simply not as good as others. People who are high in self-criticism may shy away from throwing themselves at new tasks since they know that they will blame themselves a lot if things do not turn out as they had planned.

Getting Distracted measures difficulty keeping one's interest and attention focused on long-term projects once the initial excitement wears off. People who are easily distracted may be both creative and insightful, but with their inconsistent long-term commitment to plans, others may come along and scoop up their contributions.

Risky Behavior is the tendency to either take risks just for the sake of it or to act out internal frustrations by engaging in hazardous activities. Risky behavior may include anything from speeding, stealing, or cheating to more serious and unsafe activities. People who engage in risky behavior put both their own talents, work projects, and efforts in jeopardy, often preventing them from reaching their full potential.

Perfectionism is the tendency to be overly scrupulous and rigid in one's work and about how things "ought" to be done. A drive to achieve is an asset in life, but when that drive turns into perfectionism, it often becomes destructive, holding the person back from producing as much quality work as they could have done and/or holding them back from new and unusual ways of doing things.

Lost in Fantasy is the tendency to get lost in one's daydreams and reveries. People who spend a lot of time fantasizing or "zoning out" from life are often keeping themselves from reaching their full potential. A good imagination can often lead one to be more creative in life, but imagination needs to be crisscrossed with the real world in order for it to work to a person's advantage.

No Enthusiasm can be described as apathy and the lack of strong emotions. Humans are not just rational creatures but emotional ones as well, and without emotional excitement, it may be hard to motivate oneself to give one's all to the tasks at hand.
