• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hi Guys

I would really appreciate help with gas for a exit bag as I am confused.

Does anyone know the "realistic" minimum gas required for a fairly snug exit bag. I can get a 7.6 cubic foot (218 Litre) ARGON gas tank easily with a regulator that can do 6 Bar (80 PSI), to go anything bigger is a pain with having to sign up to an industrial company where I am etc.

What Bar setting is comfortably breathable (so to speak), and does anyone know the math for how long the above will last, and should this do the job?

Buying two to run in dual is an option if its too tight.

You need a bare minimum of 600L of inert gas (argon, nitrogen or helium) --40 minutes of flow at 15Lpm-- which translates into a 20cf cylinder. Stacking small cylinders into a cascade system is technically challenging, so probably not something you want to mess with.

You will need not just a pressure regulator, but a flowmeter that registers in liters per minute.

Check out the Exit Bag and Inert Gas megathread, under Resources. It has all the details.

Thanks, I have read that carefully, I will have to source a bigger bottle elsewhere.

Why Argon? Isn't Nitrogen cheaper?
