Where I live you can't pay for it in advance, but you can authorize your own cremation & fill out the forms for them to keep on file. When are you planning on leaving? I'm sorry if that's an awful question.
How do you go about arranging that without suspicion? I've never thought of actually arranging things myself, just leaving a note of instructions I'd hope would be followed.

Also scheduling a Boomerang email for 1 week from today to my son's basketball Coach & Asst Principal with my dying wish to give my son another opportunity to try out for basketball so he doesn't become a higher-risk for dropping out since basketball has always been his primary motivation for keeping his grades up. How's THAT for a guilt trip?!Oh jeez. I was just thinking of you. You know, it really speaks to your character that you're still putting your family first, despite the fact that you're waiting at the bus stop with a completely debilitating illness.
Really thoughtful to make those arrangements. I'm sure it wasn't easy!
Thanks but IRL I'm a mental train wreck. Just because I can string a few sentences together on my phone, don't let that fool ya.I used to think it was creepy as hell that my grandmother has pre-paid for her cremation and has her ash box just chilling in the closet. Now I think she's a genius.
Your poise about your situation never ceases to amaze me.
You might be surprised what you can do on the DL over the internet. I'd suggest doing a little investigating, at least. It kills me that I cannot do the same without attracting suspicion. Don't want the fuckers to bury the smurf.

Do you live off the beaten path?Thank you for pointing the way, but my options are probably a bit different than over there. Can check, of course.
Yep, 1 less thing for the fam to worry about.I am making payments on my mausoleum plot and I recently sat down with a funeral director to get the lowdown on cost and prepayment. I hope not to need it for many years but when I do I want family to be covered.
