before i go i cant but help wonder is the conscious we hold (not necessarily a soul) carries on to another plane of existence after we die and shed our physical bodies here on earth? or is that just another self-loathing fairytale to just help us come to terms with our deaths?

Just like the dreams we have, are they glimpses of a past life or what awaits us after we pass onto the next realm? What happens if we don't live out our life in this realm, are we doomed to repeat it until we have progressed to the next? I once thought of something like that, but I think that was the drugs talking.

cleaver lol drugs are an aphrodisiac i need to help prepare me for my death... also my voice of survival is strong but my will to die has been getting a lot stronger as i isolate myself away these past few weeks or months i'm not really sure how long it's been but someday next week just finally feels right to me if that makes any sense

honestly if there is an afterlife i wouldn't want it. I just want eternal peace and nothingness...to simply not exist anymore...

Some people say "seeing the light" is coming out of the womb but that doesn't make much sense. Perhaps suicides reincarnate into somebody close to their previous family, like a newborn nephew or niece. The scarier reincarnation theories are those of repetition, where we just repeat the same damn life over and over again to infinity, never actual knowing and only speculating like I am now. The thought of a greater being or mother-like entity that embraces us in death can be comforting. Nothingness is both comforting and terrifying, but both of those feelings couldn't be felt in nothingness.

I'm a believer in the Genetic memory theory, it would help explain reincarnation and deja vu etc. The part about Trauma, phobias, and neuropsychiatric disorders is particularly interesting.
