  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Spent a week in hospital, bad infection, swollen lymph nodes, not 100%, but I am back home.

Surprised that I managed to stay in hospital for a week, I usually walk out, but the infection was so bad, I guess I knew that I couldn't treat it at home. I asked the nurses to phone the vet on more than one occasion, they thought I was joking. Lost 2kg in hospital, did not eat, just had fruit juices.

I stared out of the hospital window for a week, my phone was off, I did not want to read, and had no earphones. I just stared. Weird.

Only had one incident, the general surgeon told the ENT that I didn't want to take the medicine that he prescribed, so they came into the room, and I said, "Do you really think it is safe to infuse a patient with 60% lung volume, and a resting heart rate of 120+ with 100mg Tramadol 3x a day?, and ontop of that you prescribed another opiate derived analgesic? You know that people die of tramadol?" He just said "Yes, I agree."

At the moment my life has no direction, so confused.

hope you well

I have heard that fifty percent of all doctors graduated in the lower half of their medical school class.

in my experience with this, they wait for small improvements, job done, next. The ENT discharged me without inspecting my throat, he was standing at my bedside, while telling him that my throat is very tender, but it was too much trouble to look in my throat, which was severely infected, and required 7 days of IV antibiotics. One would think that he would do one last check before he discharged me, it takes 2 seconds......Then he told me to come see him at his office in a few days time ...more $ , not going to happen.

I'm sorry you have had to go through this. It sounds really unpleasant. At least you are out of the hospital now. I wish you the best.
