Email https://mail.tutanota.com/
you can set passwords for encryption that is sent as a separate email. all email sent to another tutanota account is encrypted by default.
Email Alias:https://simplelogin.io/ this allows you to create a random alias when signing up for sites that can be redirected to your base email. allows 15 free aliases. tutorial here
Text/SMS app https://signal.org/ it is the only app encrypted by default as whatsapp and Telegram do not. you must do it in settings and data can still be scraped.
Password manager https://bitwarden.com/ this stores all your passwords in one place and will generate strong secure passwords for you as well as fill them for sites. the app is free for all devices. you simply need to remember one strong master password. tutorial here
VPN https://mullvad.net/ this is one of the very few vpn services that has not sold out to Kape Technologies (look it up) and is thus privacy focused and claims to remain that way for the future. this is the only option on this list that is not free. cost is 5euro/mo or about 6.50$us
Operating system: for windows users that want a windows like experience i recommend elementryOS https://elementary.io/ it is one of the best distros for Linux beginners.
also recommended for the more privacy focused is the TailsOS https://tails.boum.org/ as it can be run from a usb stick and leaves no trace once ejected
for windows users an antivirus is a must. I use Avira https://www.avira.com/ as they don't sell data. this is also a free service. tutorial here
