• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Would it be realistic to go to belgum to be euthanized?

I'm trans and apparently gender dysphoria can meet the requirements for getting it?

I've read some info about it but if anyone has a better understanding what would the rough costs and process be? What would I need? How much? How long? Is it even possible?

As a trans person I'm bewildered to hear about gender dysphoria qualifying.
Don't get me wrong; I think anyone should have the right to be voluntarily euthanized, but if these options are restricted to the disabled, the elderly and queer people, it's pretty obvious that the state just wants to get rid of undesirables.

I don't really know how the process works (for Belgian nationals or for foreigners), but I would also be interested because of my geographical proximity to Belgium.

your problem is mental so if you not a belgian citizen they would reject you, assisted suicide for mental reasons is only for belgium citizens to avoid suicide tourism

There is no 'assisted suicide for mental reasons' in Belgium. There's euthanasia in case of 'ondraaglijk psychisch lijden' (unbearable mental suffering) and it requires the person to have an incurable condition. People who simply want to kill themselves will not get approved.

I can confirm what's already been said: if this would have been a physical (and incurable) condition you would have been accepted as a foreigner. But euthanasia in case of unbearable mental suffering is only preserved for Belgians. I've read the procedure can take up to 1 or even 2 years.
