even though i'm of legal age i've never had more than half a glass of beer, and have never felt any affects from it, so i know essentially nothing about alcohol.

im preparing on dying as soon as i can force myself to do it, but im worried about survival instinct. does anyone have any advice on what sort of alcohol i should buy to numb my fear of finally going through with it?

i dont want something that will make me dumb and silly because then i'll fuck hanging up and its really important to get that right, but is there a specific drink that just helps calm fear

The effect of alcohol varies from person to person to be honest. I have a friend that gets really annoyingly active all of the sudden, whereas I get a bit dizzy but mostly extremely calm. Find this out for yourself first.

What's your way to go out? If you're planning on jumping off a bridge, sure, taking a couple of shots of Vodka could make it easier to jump. Be careful though, as getting drunk might screw up your attempt.

it's partial suspension, which you have to be quite careful about preparing, so i didnt plan on getting actually drunk, but just drink a bit to calm my nerves.

do different types of alcohol tend to bring out a different response in people or should i just buy any kind? that was mainly why i made the post

I'm looking at partial suspension as well!

Different types of alcholic drinks have different percentages (%) of alcohol in them. The higher the percentage of alcohol, the more effect you will feel. The effect does not change depening on the percentage of alcohol, as I said, that is completely personal. More alcohol will simply get you to that intoxicated state earlier.

I recommend you either get liqour that you like, or simply mix something like vodka with a non-alcoholic drink you like.

ok thank you, i guess i will give it a try.

by the way, considering the amount of difficulty people express here about partial, what has your experience been with it if you've given it a try? if not, how do you feel about it? im just curious, i get discouraged easily seeing so many people struggle with it

Honestly, I have yet to start experimenting. I am waiting until my tests at school are over, so I have plently of time again.

In my opinion though, there is not one 'easy' way to CTB. It seems we will have to suffer. I wish I could shoot myself, but firearms are not an option in my country. Neither is spending a fuck ton of money to import SN which my country's police will likely intercept.

Partial is just the only real option I've got, and it is the one I must use.

Plain and simple it varies from person to person. Tolerance, the quality of alcohol, the type of alcohol. It all varies. So i would give the suggestion of experimenting first a few days before you ctb.

But to give general advice from my experience......

  • Do not get cheap alchol
  • Do not drink more than necessary to lower inhibitions because if you do your motor functions will be way too impared for you to be able to follow through with ctb properly
  • Eat a small meal first or atleast the morning of your day of drinking

Please, don't make my same mistake.
This summer I had finally planned and arranged everything for me to hang myself but in the end I couldn't do it because I drank too much and pussied out.
