• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UKā€™s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

"in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

So before this beginning, one can assume that there was no time. Without time, the moment is eternal. Waving your hand for instance is two moments (one moment where the hand starts to move and another moment where it stops.) That means in eternity that God spent his one moment either emerging into existence or opening his eyes and then initiating Genesis 1.

I was always crap at physics. Still- to my understanding- time has to exist whilst there are objects moving in space. Time is what separates all things happening at once. If there is a God- then presumably time began when God came into being. So- there's God and nothing and God just- I don't know- sneezes/pukes/shits the universe out- unless God can create something from nothing.

I feel it's more likely that there has always been stuff floating around in space for all eternity and at some point, enough stuff clumped together and reacted to create the big bang or whatever. Still- when it comes to the physics of creating something out of nothing- @Darkover is your specialist here. Apparently- it's possible. I don't necessarily think it needs a God but if that's what you believe, fair enough.
