• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Why are the sounds of birds and the sight of trees not enough to keep us from thinking of death and ending it all. The feeling of the sun and wind on our faces. Even colours, noises, music, people chattering and buying bread and drinking coffee. Fuck hopes and expectations, just the vibrancy of the life that is all around us. Not being able to respond to all that anymore is the most draining part of it. All it takes is to act, move and flow as everything else does. I don't know why this becomes so hard exactly. I kind of do but everyone has their own thoughts.

The human condition, in my view, is alien to nature. We aren't expected to live a natural life.

i think we are conditioned to react to opposites, to be either opposed to something or attracted to it. it fucks up a sense of genuine relationship with our environment and it prevents us from just being. so yes, i agree. nature doesn't judge. but what is there to judge about birdsong or any kind of natural beauty that doesn't ask us to appreciate it or despise it, how can one feel nothing about it.

I do respond to Nature. I like birdsong, and I appreciate beautiful trees, luxuriant foliage. Animals always make me smile, and sometimes suffuse me with good feelings.

But life itself is unbearable. Working, taking to people, worrying about things...

All of nature is free and we're bound by society that makes sure we feel caged, seeing an animal or a bird in nature points out the fact we have no natural ability to survive without great effort, we are not adapted to this world, animals have natural programming to survive.

Nature like what you describe is amazing. If someone else could pay my way I'd be in it all day long. But that's not life. The other truth about nature is that it is often cruel. And that makes me sad. Sometimes I just feel like prey.

THIS.

it's hard because we need to be part of the configuration of the system. We are not free as the nature is.
