A response to this thread too:
I joined lookism.net back in 2019, a place where "incels" would discuss about lookism and how to get better looking in order to get laid.
this, ofc being proven by different statistics such as how women find their partners through looks such as jawline, hair, height being the most popular since it is not in control of men, nor they can change that without surgery.
this drove me insane as i was just 13 when i joined. I'm 18, and is still something that left me with a permanent scar.
I'm ugly, and I used to be uglier. Bullied, backstabbed, and I'm still am. In fact my first kiss was at 17. I'm a virgin, while all my other friends aren't so.
I never got the chance to go to parties. All the goodlooking friends already got laid while I was falsely accused of shit like stealing or constantly harassing girls in my class when i would never do that. same with other stuff such as if someone did something bad they would blame it on me.
replying to the incel thread.
i know not a single sane or normal, or almost normal person would like to engage with people like those incels that you see posting about "i hate women I'll fucking drive over them with a truck in gta v", as someone who was close with users that even met Elliot Rodger, the famous "incel" who committed such horrible crime.
it's just that the average person can't understand that the cause of this is constant reinforcement, such as girls commenting on TikTok how they hate "short guys below 6'2", and those videos have hundreds if not a million likes.
even i was a victim of one of those.
that's the problem, you tell an incel that it's his fault for not getting laid, the incel sees the hatred towards "short", or "ugly" guys on social media, he sees that everywhere he goes he's rejected, it's obvious his only response will be to be a dick to you.
plastic surgery is an option, however, it's so damn expensive. some incels would take years to get to be "good looking", so a single procedure isn't enough.
the only solution is to just either ignore them or help them. i helped a friend of mine who was into this and he's better now. however if i were there just constantly telling him it's his fault that he's constantly shamed and bullied for being either short or bad looking, what he could have done?.
if you see that they aren't cooperative however just ignore it. sadly many people don't want to get saved.
