Body decomposition

I'm might ctb in the next weeks to months while the temperatures are hot. I'm asking myself if I should make sure someone finds me a while after because in these temperatures, it wouldn't take very long until flys and other insects start to use my body to lay down eggs. Which is kinda nasty tbh. I forgot to clean up some food I accidently spilled some days ago and I had like 30 flies in the living room flying around just a couple of hours later. For these of yours who also plan to leave soon, what are your plans?

I think about this sometimes. I guess I vacillate between the two poles. Sometimes the thought of my body, the only thing I know as me, putrefying is upsetting. At other times. I don't really care. I think ultimately as long as I leave instructions as to where I am I'll be okay.

RainAndSadness, you are really kind to be thinking about this. I would say that if it's a major concern for you, you could perhaps send a delayed message to someone telling them either about your suicide or to just check up on you.

Depending on your method, you could still have time to warn someone before you completely pass out. It is risky, though.

I'll be using the Aokigahara technique on the full moon of July 2018:

45 degrees Fahrenheit + 20 degrees from a small campfire

winds: ~SSW @ 1-5 mph

Colorado Rockies

@ lunar midnight (when the moon is at it's zenith, as with solar noon)

barbiturate, sweet moscato wine, root beer & CBD gummy bears, stuffed animals x4 (gift from brother), portable bluetooth speaker & mp3 player, and a 6 cubic-feet aluminum nitro rig for backup method (mandatory for going the Aokigahara way, IMHO; Aokigahara technique will result in death, whether by method, backup method, or starvation/exposure to the elements)

It helps to invoke the aid of an external clock (cosmic, meteorological, biological, etc.) by which to sync a deadline; I will be dead at ~25.306 revolutions around the sun

I'll post a picture of my backpack and its contents before I head out 3 weeks from now

*My first attempt was in the desert in early spring (which was coincidentally the same week reddit shut down sanctioned suicide), but I decided to abort, had to save up more money via wage slavery, and acquire the compact nitro rig to serve as backup. I wanted the desert location but its July temperatures are too forbidding.

Neither myself nor any other human will ever occupy the same square kilometer of my bones, for the remainder of eternity. The Aokigahara technique allows the added benefit of solving the decomposition problem entirely: I'm not going to see it, and neither will anyone else.

I want to say "Be careful of Japanese authorities finding out about your plan is in the forest" but another part of me also thinks they don't really about what anyone does in the forest just as long as finding the remains of the bodies are concerned. That job must be desensitizing for everybody I feel bad for both the victims and the workers.
