• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I would like to apologize for even requesting a ban in the first place, I feel like I have a lot to offer to this group and visa versa. Still working on my right to die manifesto. Gonna do "geurilla mail" to every major and local news outlet that I can. Including random home addresses. It's the first step. I want to be anon and won't leave a hint of this website. The best outcome would be an interview with my voice and face blurred. I can do that. The right to die is very "controversial", it shouldn't be in 2018.

I admire your bravery, good luck in your endeavors, and I'm sorry life has brought you to this point. I wish parents would consider their part in creating a life, and not just subscribe to the procreation push because it feels right or is what is normal or natural or spirit babies waiting in Heaven. I can't disprove that last one but still it makes no sense to me considering the way so many lives end up here. Reincarnation doesn't seem to fair to me either but that doesn't make it impossible I suppose. I hope the "only love" NDEs are true, and that there is simply no more suffering in any form after we die, be it in non-existence or an afterlife of bliss.

Thank you so much man. I'm very familiar with the term "spirit babies" growing up around Mormons. These people believe that children are in heaven just "dying" to come to earth so that they can learn life experiences and one day become gods themselves in the afterlife. I think reincarnation would be the worst scenario - having to live, struggle then die over and over again until you "get it right". Personally. I'm an atheist. I do see non existence as being in a "better place".

I don't really know you, but your enterprise is a worthy one. Most of us lack the drive/energy to do anything on this scale, but trying to move the Overton window on this subject is a noble goal.

Thanks. It ain't gonna be easy but someone's gotta do it. Educating the public on this issue is the first step. We can't even convince the majority that terminally ill patients should have the right to die. People in our situation have one hell of a fight on our hands. If all else fails, maybe we could one day create an "Underground Railroad" type network with tools needed to garentee a peaceful death.

You're welcome, and yeah, it makes no sense to me, and yet I've heard the same thread from theistic Satanists to fundamentalist Christians to just about every other religious viewpoint that expresses some moral imperative or spiritual war to be waged, and really my best scenario remains that vague but all-encompassing love many NDEers describe, I hope that's not a deception, or something or another. If it's a hallucination and non-existence awaits, well that's fine. Sorry you had to grow up in such an environment, it would be quite uncomfortable to not share those same views, well, at least for me ><

Hey Schopenhauer, what's the Overton window? I could Google it but yeah, I felt I come off a bit much at times and wanted to humble myself, guess the Judeo-Christian masochism remains a bit lol. xD

Thanks. Fortunately they weren't fundamentalist Mormons and didn't push religion on me.

I took an interest in NDEs years ago. It has been proven to be a physical instead of a supernatural phenomenon. When the brain loses oxygen, "feel good" chemicals flood the brain. These chemicals are also responsible for feelings such as hyperawareness and love. Out of body sensations are caused by the part of the brain that deals with orientation. Some people who take LSD or shooms can experience this and neurologists can now induce NDEs in non dying humans. NDEs = nature's last acid trip before it all fades to black.

Cool, yeah I'm fairly new to them despite years of existential angst, I really only discovered them this year ^^"

Hm, well to be honest, I hope you're right, or at least, that would be quite all right with me. Especially if the negative realms exist with the positive, I'd just as soon have us all go to nothing than some go to some place or torment, how incredibly inhumane, in my opinion, that it go on without ceasing.

And that's good, are fundamentalist Mormons hard to come by these days, even in Utah? Or is it mostly in Utah or?

Thank you for your perspective and kind replies <3

No problem man. Mormonism is incredibly fundamentalist. They politically align themselves with the far right, are against same sex marriage, women's rights, EUTHANASIA, and abortion. Before 1978, they were white supremacist - only allowing Caucasians people to obtain the priesthood. They believed that black people were cursed by god. These radical beliefs are nationwide within the LDS church.

It's a fancy name for a simple concept. The Overton window is that which is acceptable to say in public discourse.

To give a concrete example, think about gay marriage. A couple decades ago, only lgbt activists were publicly, openly pro-gay marriage. Nowadays even right wing politicians often tacitly aprove it. The Overton window has shifted on this particular issue.

I see, and yeah I thought so, and gah, I read about that somewhere, that's so messed up, but it did start in 19th century America, with all the race crap going on back then. It's just sad how backwards we still are.

I wrote a letter to the australian board of psychiarists arguing that mentally ill people should be allowed assisted suicide and also to the voluntary euthanasia party. No replies. Doesn't look like anyone wants to talk about it yet.

Mormon raised in Brazil and its the same that you described here.I think Mormonism is a byproduct of America's ''manifest destiny'',their own version of Christianity putting America at the forefront. And with a genocidal dude as the founder(Brigham Young) to boot.
Its defiantly America-Centric. These guys believe that the Garden of Eden was in Missouri
