my dad had a 9mm firearm but he has the normal hollow points bullets, the ones that don't splinter. Anyways, my anxiety is telling me if I pull the trigger the bullet will get stuck halfway or something. Do you think it could? I plan to aim behind the ear. What are the chances I press the firearm against my skull behind the ear, fire, and the bullet get stuck halfway??

I'm not really sure about the bullet getting stuck but there have been studies done on if a certain caliber can defeat the skull. If you're curious it's something like someone shot in the head with a low caliber nine millimeter round has about a 10% chance of surviving the incident. If a second shot happens it drops to well below single digits.
