• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

So I came back from a program of sorts that I was involved in, intended for students. I don't wanna delve into it too deep, but it took me out of state and I was in a hotel. I had a team I worked with, so I wasn't completely alone, but now that I'm back, I already miss it. I hate my house, we have too many animals and it stinks. I'm in a small shitty town with nothing to do. After experiencing being on my own, I really enjoyed it and yearn for it again. I can't afford it right now, I possibly could in Uni as long as I have a roommate and a job. Not sure if I will, but I'm certain I am moving out the second I land a job after college. The moving process scares me but I believe it would be worth it, especially if it's as pleasant as what I just experience (I know it'll be different because hotel vs apartment but regardless). I just think moving out will eventually be a very rewarding experience which I hope to experience soon. Even if it's after Uni, there's only 2.5 years left until I'm done.

You've got this. Start looking a couple months before you plan to move out, obviously just for the sake of security but having something to look forward would surely give you a lot of motivation to get through it the closer you yet to moving out.
Wishing you the best.

It will be a bit difficult to do that, if I go with the plan of doing it after University. I plan on applying in different cities and states, and I'll move to whichever gives me an offer. I could look for the motivation and something to look forward to. Could search around in all of the cities I plan on applying in, have an idea of what I'd want in each city. Thank you!
