• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I read about carbon monoxide and know about it overall but there are still things I'm not sure about. I know it can be done with charcoal, you have to burn a lot of charcoal on a grill to produce a lot of co, the more co you produce the faster you get unconscious and die, so you would need at least a few kilograms of charcoal, let's say 10 kg, the charcoal should be of good quality, then you have to wait until the fire and smoke stops and the charcoal has a white or grey colour, that's when co is produced. If you use a tent there's a certain type of tent recommended for this, I think it's airtight, it doesn't let the co leave the tent, it makes it stay inside. I don't remember the name of this type of tent though. I'm also not sure how to check the quality of the charcoal. How do you know if the charcoal is of good quality? Is there a type of charcoal recommended for this and how many kg would you need to produce a lot of co? What type of grill and tent would be needed for this?

i know a small amount about this but i just read this "Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Symptoms" and from what they say as long as your fill your grill/fire to the rim with charcoal (about 1 bag worth i think ~20kg). i think that would be more than enough and for tents just look for low temp stuff, thats meant for -15c that stuff is meant to hold in heat so one of those making sure it doesnt have a feature for ventalation or something like that and your good. if price isn't too big of an issue this is perfect https://a.co/d/aE2WW81 , tape the hole at the top and its meant to keep everything inside so let it burn. lastly my personal suggestion, buy a large pack of "melatonin" off amazon as well if you can, because if you take alot and fall asleep quick you wont have to worry with any of the symptoms mentioned in the website i gave a link to. I wish you luck.

I camped for many years and it happened when we burned big logs and once we burned coal, I was exposed to smoke for a very long time, moreover, because I was outdoors and high, I suddenly came to my senses with the feeling of suffocation. My body was pumping adrenaline and as I coughed, I started coughing up black saliva and my eyes started to burn incredibly, for about 30 minutes. Even though I was in the open air forest, I coughed like I was having a seizure and I cannot describe to you how bad that breathless feeling was. My friends took me to the nearest hospital and I received oxygen for 2 days and now my lungs are incredibly hazy because of this and it feels like I smoked 1000000 cartons of cigarettes. If you are also planning to do this in a tent, I am sorry. I respect your choice. You must be incredibly drunk or lethargic so that the smoke does not wake you up.

If you can afford it, get a CO meter too. With it you can monitor the CO level. Maybe run a few tests.

So you're saying this method shouldn't be done? There are many ways to die which are much more painful and brutal, so what else should people choose? I know the effects of co can be uncomfortable if there's not enough co produced but from what I read the more co is produced the faster you can go into unconsciousness and die, there aren't painful effects when that happens, at least not from what I've heard. I could take some uncomfortable symptoms as long as I'm sure I'll die, compared to other ways people died, this shouldn't really be that much of a problem. Many people died from co so this method should be reliable, of course there are risks of failure with many methods including this one but then again, it's a risk people have to take if they want to kill themselves. Or is doing the co method with a tent specifically not reliable, and other ways of killing yourself with co more reliable?

How do you run tests if you don't attempt the method? If you burn charcoal and produce a lot of co then isn't it risky to stay near the grill if you're just testing and not attempting to die?

To be honest, I didn't think of CTB at that time. We were going on a small camping trip with my friends. It's not my place to tell you the most suitable method. It's your choice. I just want to say that the feeling of suffocation, nausea, cough attack made me have an incredible panic attack and my body's adrenaline and SI activated very quickly. Mine was an accident. Since you planned it, your SI is likely to act faster, so I suggested you to anesthetize yourself as heavily as possible. Some of us may think that the methods are painful or that they should not be applied, but I am definitely not telling you that this method is wrong, I am just talking about my experience, it was very difficult for me, so I will use SN and a gun for my own CTB.

I'm more afraid of sn than co honestly, if I was sure sn would kill me then I wouldn't be scared of it but even if I test it, the aquarium test strips don't show very accurate results so I wouldn't know for sure if it has a high purity in order for it to kill me. I'm scared of its uncertainty, what if it doesn't kill me and I end up in a worse condition than before? At least with co many more people died from it so this method is more proven to work, but of course it has a risk of failure like many methods

Here's a guide:

This is probably the best ever documented journey:

I was exposed to smoke for a very long time
@littleraccoon3 there won't be any smoke in the room/tent. You don't expose yourself to smoke with this method.

I attempted with this method, it was so close to working but sadly i was randomly diacovered.
Sealed location chosen was my car. Charcoal- Alderline lumpwood, smokeless flavourless
The bbq was on on amazon with legs so it didn't touch anything and cause a fire - dimensions were 37.2x 27.6 x 19.6 cm.

I used 1.5 chimney starters worth of charcoal. Chimney starter dimensions- 17 x 29 x 28 cm.
Let the first small load burn down to orange/white. Place in bbq, sit in car whilst full Chimney burner prepares and gets to the right temp.

Exit briefly, add rest of charcoal to bbq. Get into the car and wait. I was watching films on my phone and getting some work done.

CO levels rose fairly rapidly, wasn't particularly unpleasant. I could feel my heart at the back of my head at one point but that may have been the sleeping meds I took alongside.
There was no feeling of suffocation or choking. No symptoms at all really. Felt a bit drunk then lights out.

There appears to be no lasting effects so far. Ended up in ER, O2 until 3pm the following day, vomited a few times and slept 14hrs afterwards. They were worried at onw point about a fast heart rate and.my blood gas not raising but I seem to have gotten away with it.

There's a slight scorch mark on the seat of the car (leather) but that's it.
I still have my equipment so I have enough to try again. I think maybe next time it'll be in the small caravan. I'll curl up in bed and just never wake up

you don't have to stay inside the tent or vehicle or whatever it is. the meter is to make sure your setup can reach lethal levels of CO. leave the meter inside the tent and monitor it with live streaming on a phone or something.

How were you randomly discovered if you don't mind me asking?

If you're doing CO correctly, there shouldn't be any smoke. Remember, CO gas is odorless and colorless. The idea is to get the charcoals burning so hot that the impurities burn off, thus no smoke. Coals should be lit outside the tent and allowed to burn until all are burning red hot and emitting no smoke. Once they're burning appropriately, then they get moved inside the tent and a short amount of time is allowed for CO to accumulate in tent. The amount of charcoal needed is .135 kg/m³. That's a minimum amount. For "safety" multiply results by 3 or more. For a "normal" size tent, 2 or 3 person, a bag of 100% pure carbon, lump charcoal should be sufficient. Sealing of the tent seams and any openings would be beneficial. Make sure the tent has an attached ground sheet. Practice getting into the tent quickly and closing the opening behind you quickly to reduce CO loss.
