• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Does anyone know of motels in the states that accept cash as payment? I don't want to use my debit or ID.

Research seems to pull up 3rd party booking sites only.

Tnx

When I've went a few times they did accept cash but they also asked for ID one time, the other times I don't really remember as someone else paid, i'm not sure if you can get in without ID but when I went it was always one of those really cheap, shady motels, so maybe you'd want to look for one of those types of motels, they seem to care a lot less than regular hotels, and in reviews people always call them "no tell motels". I also live in the US if that helps

Plenty of places will accept cash for payment. I've stayed in places where I paid in cash because I had no debit or credit card. Typically in such a situation, they also ask for a cash deposit.

The kind of arrangement where someone pays cash and doesn't show any ID, though, is usually done under the table, with walk-up bookings (ie, no reservation), and not in the best or safest of places.

Use google maps and go down the list of motels in your area calling each of them one by one.

Every hotel I've been to needs an ID and credit card for deposit in case of damage.
I've only used cash at one but they still requested the ID.
