• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I had planned to ctb today but my thoughts have changed over the last several days. I promised myself that if I survived my attempt or changed my mind before attempting I would focus all my effort on recovery. While I've found the people on this site to be quite kind in my short time here, I don't expect to be nearly as active anymore. Most of you probably don't know who I am anyways lol

I had a relapse and started taking meds 2 weeks ago, I have very bad moments and others in which I can have silence in my mind for 3 hours. I try to recover, I think about CTB too but now I like to think that I will win. I send you a hug. We don't have to know each other. 🤍

Good luck partner. I'm happy the road of recovery could be found.

If i had to give advice, try to have some exercise, clean your bedroom, play games how you feel like playing them and be nice.

i'd definitely look into a therapist in your area, if you can't afford one some of them have a sliding scale so it can be a lot cheaper or even free. there are a lot of different types of therapy and not everyone meshes well with their first therapist so don't be afraid to shop around.
if you don't have a psychiatrist or a dr who can prescribe anti-depressants, that's another thing you could look into.
having a good routine and sleep schedule that you stick to should also help.
goal setting is another area id look into, "smart goals" can make it easier to have a concrete goal to work towards.
i know you might roll your eyes at this one but i'd really recommend meditation as well. adding it into your daily schedule for a few mins each day and you can work up to increasing the amount you meditate. there is a good app called "waking up", if you go to there site you can get a year free so you don't have to pay. it isn't a fix/cure but it can make things easier.
