Method Charcoal

I want to use charcoal. I plan on stealing my parent's car at 2 am and driving off somewhere then lighting a shitton of charcoal up in the back of my car. Any problems with this plan?

PLEASE notify me if I've gotten something wrong here. My death depends on this.

1.) Get charcoal
2.) Get lighter fluid
3.) Get metal container
4.) Fill metal container with charcoal
5.) Wait in my room until 2 am
6.) Go out to the car, put charcoal in back, roll up all windows
7.) Drive to set location far from intervention that my parents do not know of
8.) Add lighter fuel to charcoal; light on fire
9.) Peace.

I can't be missing something, right? This has to be foolproof.

Put the charcoal in an enclosed space with you (like the car) once the charcoal is white ash. The is after you have burned it and it has been embers.

I had trouble with this, but yours seems better thought-out. Here's what I did:
-got a basting pan
-filled it with charcoal
-lit it on fire in a bathroom
-eventually left the bathroom because the air hurt to breathe.

Some flaws in mine:
-bathrooms aren't airtight
-I was in China and couldn't read any of the labels on the products I bought
-I didn't wait for the coal to become embers
-my coworkers came in and saved me

How do you wait for coal to become embers? How long does that take? Do you burn it in the space, or burn it outside and then bring it in when it's embers? What do embers look like?

I don't have a car -- is there another type of space that would work well?

i'll find some numbers and let you know once i have figured it out. This is my method, too, so I want to be specific.

1.) Get charcoal ( get good quality charcoal brisquettes which produces less smoke and burns easier)
2.) Get lighter fluid ( use a charcoal chimney instead to thoroughly burn the charcoal to the white ashy state)
3.) Get metal container ( also get a brick or a pan filled with water to place the bucket on to prevent the heat from the bucket burning your car)
4.) Fill metal container with charcoal
5.) Wait in my room until 2 am
6.) Go out to the car, put charcoal in back, roll up all windows( no need to roll up the windows as you are not burning the charcoal yet)
7.) Drive to set location far from intervention that my parents do not know of
8.) Add lighter fuel to charcoal; light on fire ( burn charcoal OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE until it turns ashy white, then put the ashy charcoal into the metal bucket in the car for 20 mins for CO to build up , close all windows and vents etc)
9.) Peace.( Amen)

This is not going to work at all.
You got the method all wrong.
You should look into how much and how long you need to let the coals burn.
It's a lot more complex than it seems, and all I can see happening from what you describe attempting, is getting caught and being sent to the psych ward.
Hopefully I don't sound arrogant.

It's a lot more complex than it seems, and all I can see happening from what you describe attempting, is getting caught and being sent to the psych ward.

Jumping is not my choice of method, I can't say much about it.
I guess if I had to choose between jumping or charcoal I would try charcoal first. I would just make sure that I understand the entire process of the charcoal method before acting on it.

If you're trying to sufocate yourself with with the production of carbon monoxide by burning the charcoal using the method that you suggested, that's not efficient at all and there's a high possibility of failure. You can look for more information in how to procede on the Lostallhope website that have a category dedicated to this, but even so, I wouldn't do it by charcoal burning but instead the mixture of Formic and Sulphuric Acid that is also mentioned on the same website, that seems way more reliable.
