  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

It appears that this was done by mistake and has been reversed by Google. It may take a few hours for you to stop seeing those warnings.

If you're still getting these warnings, please let a member of staff know.

Is citalopram (cital/celexa) good for depersonalization/ derealization? Did anyone have a good/bad experience using it? One of its side effects listed is derealization but it's also supposed to help with it so I'm worried a little bit.

I suffer from depersonalisation and derealisation.
I was prescribed cipramil a few years ago for debilitating panic attacks, yet they didn't help me much and gave me nightmares.
I was later prescribed sertraline, yet this made my depersonalisation and derealisation worse.
I guess it may be a case of trial and error to find something that works for you.
Sorry you are going through this, it's awful and frightening.

Did the derealization stay worse after you stopped taking it or did it go back to the original level?

It went back to normal levels after a couple of weeks.
I guess the drugs may stay in your system for a while after taking them.
