Consciously Aware

I have a hard time believing some people are conscious. I mean really.
Does anyone else feel like that when it comes to meeting certain people?

I'd like to say I'm pretty self aware. But no matter how I try to explain some things to people.. it's like talking to a dang wall!

Most people are closer to talking animals than what you'd expect from sentient beings. Their entire life is just: stimuli -> reaction, stimuli -> reaction, stimuli -> reaction......
Quite often even a chimpanzee can appear to be more self-aware than a human. Especially chimpanzees who know sign language.

I try to explain things until I'm blue in the face lol. Oh well
