Considering whether i should continue..

I would like your input on this. At this point, I have NO viable methods. I'm out of money and have parents who refuse to give me any money. If I can cope until September, they are planning on paying for me to enroll in a repeat secondary school (11th and 12th grade).

I'm not sure if this is a good idea. Firstly the issue which forced me to fail my HS originally haven't really gone away however this environment will be much more relaxed so I think I could do better, however I don't know whether it's worth it.

I don't think I can personally endure 2 years just studying without partying at all or having money to buy mind altering substances. My mom wants me to make friends that don't do drugs but honestly, I just don't see why I would make friends at all. The reason why I probably failed was that I didn't feel there was a point in even pursuing education back 3 years ago. Drugs gave me a reason to live (not hard ones).

I'm definitely not foolish as to think that I don't need a secondary school degree because I couldn't get any minimum wage job without one and that's why I just feel like ending it is best. The hassle of this isn't worth it.

I feel you have experience in this situation of being jobless ...? I'm thinking of doing computer science but I lack the motivation and I've heard it's a field that you need to proof through experience (running websites, creating smartphone apps), not mindless degrees (though I can't really speak now as I couldn't find a job in McDonalds with no experience at all).

People only have best concentration and motivation to learn until mid 20s so it's worth using your time efficiently.
Computer science is good choice since it's growing industry. Since it lacks workers, companies often hire people straight from school so you might have a job before you get your papers.

If you lack motivation getting a job wont be easy.. but if thats what you want to do why dont you create an app and use it as a cv ?

honestly, if you are debating whether to or not, then don't. The time is not ready for you and maybe there is some other option for you than suicide. Suicide is good for those that see no other option and that feel it 100%, and really desire it deep down for a long time before they do it. Don't risk destroying yourself.

I agree with @creatureoflight. If you you're uncertain, do not kill yourself. Death is permanent. I think you should only do it if you know with 100% certainty that you want to.

Also, what country do you live in? If you live in the US, you could get your GED. You could also enroll in a community college which also has remedial courses and tons of support. You can get back on track and learn what you missed out on. Or you could also look into get a trade school.

I never would encourage somebody to keep living, it's against my moral values.

I don't think killing yourself in this moment would be a good idea either but my reasons are different. If you have doubts, you will feel pressure and trust me, pressure only ruins everything. You should take your time and when you finally see this as a viable option (that it is) and you have a good method, you will do it better than now. I know waiting sucks but nobody wants to fail and end worse than now.
