It fucks my headhole to think about all of the amazing things that happened, the beauty that humanity had the ability to produced before ww1&2 - the Art, literature, architecture, philosophy - before it all descended into total fucking horror. Humanity's response was to invent nuclear weapons, biological weapons - the means to end the entire world. And people think that depressed people are mentally ill for not being happy in this hellworld.

I agree with you, on one hand things were always terrible as soon as human "intelligence" or sentience became a thing, but on the other things seem to be going down the shitter at exponential speed as time goes on, maybe that's just from our point of view though I'm sure there are plenty of people that love the way the world is going.

Yes so many atrocities throughout human history. It gets more horrific as things get "organized" and "civilized".
