  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Am told it is good for depression and for weight loss. Also, what is the big difference between this and ADHD meds?

I have got to the point where I don't think anything else works for me…

A line or two of coke gets me out of bed but that's pricey

Crystal will fuck your brain up a lot more than cocaine. At least most cokeheads are functional. But everyone I know on crystal pretty quickly turns into an intolerable maniac. And I doubt it's any better than coke for weight loss.

I work at a youth home. Two former residents broke into my car and found a loke and a bag with residue my dealers left behind. I was lucky I wasn't turned in to the police, but I was required drug testing and treatment to keep my job. I relapsed multiple times and hard to work hard to keep my shit together.

That's just my story though.

"A significant association was found between any use of methamphetamine and any depression outcomes in cross-sectional"

Drugs are quite deceptive when it comes to their relationship with mental health. Most recreationall drugs will boost dopamine and therefore boost your mood. However this is only in the beginning of drug use! I can not stress this enough.

Even being aware of this makes it difficult to notice. But once you're addicted your brain will re-balance your dopamine levels and lower it's baseline dopamine. Meaning it will worsen your depression. Here's where the big deception comes in. At that point it really seems like it's helping because when you use you relieve your uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. The relief of withdraw feel like a boost, and it is a boost from your new much lowered baseline dopamine levels. But at the end of the day you are mentally worse off than before. Most meth heads I've known are not happy creatures.

I could be wrong but I think the two biggest differences between Meth (methamphetamine) and Adderall ( the ADHD drug amphetamines or amphetamine salts) are that meth is more potent and it crosses the blood brain barrier quicker this increasing it's addictive potential compared to Adderall.

They are nearly identical in terms of their molecular structure with only one small difference....structurally that is. But that minor structural difference makes a major difference in strength and addictiveness.

This fact, learned from experience, that even the hardest drugs are no long term solution to depression is an absolutely brutal truth that gives me the most deep despair imaginable. Because it means even as an addict I both know rationally that there really is no relief I can turn to but still crave to try again using. When I've tried various antidepressive treatments and they don't work as well as drugs, it fills me with absolute hopelessness.

The dose determines the "poison".

Meth is actually used as a treatment for ADHD (though it's a last resort).

I really appreciate you sharing this. I both sympathize for you and am thankful someone with the experience is here to share your experience with @Little_Jem.

Since OP mentioned weight loss, which may suggest concerns with wanting to physically look better. While Meth can help someone drop weight. It doesn't always. I used to know a long term meth addict who was still quite obese. Meth makes people much uglier actually.

Even know I knew I could trust the person I just mentioned in this post. It was the shady people she was involved with on a regular basis. Most robberies it seems whether it's behind your back or to your face at gunpoint (I've been there) most robberies seem to be done to people by shady people who heard about them from someone else they know. That's how these robbers know what their victim has and a rough idea of what their schedule is. Regardless of how trustworthy she was as she got worse I had to cut off all contact from her for my own safety. I used to have a full time 7 days a week career in drug distribution. While I believe I remained ethical about it and stuck to soft drugs and psychedelics. Idk if OP is already socially isolated or not. But it would increase socialization no doubt as well as further decreasing your chances of new high quality human connections. This decreasing mental health further.

Many people with no experience in drugs and gangs know this too. If ya use meth and they notice they will stay clear of you.
