• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Please let me know if this sounds like a good plan and how to get over SI? It's really peaceful and I saw a white light that felt like divine love before a family friend pulled me out the pool. I'm not sure why so many here say it's painful. Medical studies don't back that up.

Time - night. Scope location during day. Carry flashlight or phone to walk to location at night and a knife

Place - park or place with a deep lake, creek, or river

Body - wear backpack with clothes and rocks inside tied around body to weigh myself down plus layer of clothes worn, but how can I weigh myself down further? I don't want my body to be found

Car - leave car at a store with keys in middle console or drivers seat then walk to water location OR leave car without keys and let it get impounded. It will eventually be auctioned off if impounded and I don't pick it up. Coppers won't think bad. They'll assume someone stole it or I left it there and impound cars every day to make money

Phone - Wipe phone, turn off, then toss in the water or break it and throw in random store trash?

People - I hope they don't come looking for me. Will an abandoned car make them search? I'll tell people that I moved. If I don't pay my phone bill it will be disconnected in November. No one cares anyways so I won't be contacted much to cause alarm by the time it's off. The car is a red flag though

Peace and CNS calming - I want to be relaxed. Should I have a few drinks before entering the water? I plan to bring a teddy bear with me for nostalgia. I can't get Xanax. Looking for where to buy whippets. How to calm the body before entering? Any tips for SI?

Since it's night I know the water will be cold. I hope fish and animals leave me alone during this. I want to be as comfortable as possible. I have to get out of here. I've been here too long and taken too much.

For the car, maybe if you pull the road somewhere and let it run until the tank's dry when it's found out would appear you were driving and ran out. They will certainly trace the car to you and try to find you, regardless.

Maybe I can park it in a parking garage and take an Uber closer to the water location. The car will be towed from the parking garage and impounded without them thinking to search for me.

They don't search for the owners of impounded cars. The owner of the impound will let late fees rack up until they confiscate the car and auction it off for someone to sell it. That's what they say on signs at their businesses. There's no incentive for them to contact people.

I'm abandoning the backpack idea. That could end up being a floatation device. I read it takes 2 to 5 days for a drowned body to surface depending on gases and processes. The mafia used concrete shoes, heavy chains, and weights to hold bodies under water but I don't have that.

Guess I'd have to accept being found face down in the water and scaring a random jogger. I don't want to scare people. It would be nice to not be found. It sucks there's no way to get rid of your body or hide it.

For those who later find this a good option is making it look like an accidental drowning. No need for extra steps. I'll park and put on a bathing suit like a regular day. Accidental drownings are common.

This is good for people who have an insurance policy. Your family can get paid for your death if it's not ruled a suicide and you don't leave a note. I keep remembering the time I almost drowned. Knowing I'll see and feel a white light of love after the struggle of trying to breathe until the mind remembers the body can't breathe water is it. When I stopped struggling, it accelerated dying.

I'll lay out a beach towel and snacks and go in when I'm ready. Trying to find a good lake now. I also read it's quicker to drown in the ocean due to salt water.

When I died from pills and alcohol I did not see white light. I just no longer existed. Experiencing the white light felt much better. Being brought back made me angry. I suddenly existed again like someone yanked me from nonexistence. I didn't like that. We deserve the right to die if we want or if life gets too tough or useless. I hope to go in a few days.

There's a really interesting paper that describes some people's accounts of drowning. For example:
  • It hurts so badly, then dizzy then calm. Hallucinate.
  • Just a second or two later the 'panic' feeling left me. The next thing I knew I was looking at a moving wall of beautiful colours; sea shells, sea fish, quiet, beautiful as my body slowly drifted down, down, down. No panic, no pain, no regrets, worries etc., the most pleasant experience I've ever had.
  • That peaceful feeling is all part of the euphoria most people feel before death. If you die drowning, I would say it's one of the more peaceful ways to go. After the worst 15 seconds of your life of course.

When you say tips for SI do you mean before you take the plunge, or during the drowning?
if its before then unless you have some absolute nightmare awaiting you (sometimes not even then) could you easily beat it. in my experience everything seems perfect until you have to take that final step. it is VERY hard, although ive heard stuff like benzos or alcohol can make it easier. once you're in the water you will thrash and struggle and feel fear and panic so intense that you couldnt even imagine. and that part is unavoidable, until you pass out, it will be hell.

as for your body, its important to weigh down, but also ensure that you leave no means for escape. id imagine you would need to shackle your hands or atleast find some way to bind them, and shackles may come in handy for weighing down too. if you were able to shackle your feet to some heavy object, like a suitcase full of cinderblocks or smth idk. ig that could work. but you would need to do your due dilligence.

wish you the best with whatever happens.

How will you drown if you just wear a swimsuit; don't you need to be weighed down?

I can't swim. It's not hard for me to drown. A backpack clasped at the waist with rocks inside and up to 10 canned goods would be enough to weigh down my body based on my weight and height.

I read somewhere people need about 10-15 pounds more than their body weight to be weighed down. I can't speak for people above 200 pounds, but that's the course I'd take.

If I shackle my hands it might look like a murder and create more news. That's hilarious but I don't more investigation.

Drowning's not my chosen way out. Seems kinda needlessly painful if you ask me. If I ever went that route, it'd be because: (1) my chosen method and backup method failed, and (2) i just didn't want to be found. In such a case, i'd probably cuff my hands and shackle my feet to something heavy so i don't resurface. That's not advice or encouragement. You do what you think is best for yourself.

After initial panic of trying to breathe under water no pain. When I remembered duh you can't breathe water and stopped fighting it things got better then the white light came fast. The chest burns as water fill the lungs but every other method has pain from what I've read except using a charcoal grill or carbon monoxide and helium methods.

I saw a horrible video the other day of someone who tried to shoot themselves and survived. Seeing that made drowning even more appealing to me. Everyone should do what they want of course.

I've read studies that the white light people sometimes see when dying is the brain flooding the ocular system with feel good chemicals as it realizes the body is dying and it can't think of a solution. It's like a final light show as the vision fades and the heart begins to stop. It was a few seconds of struggling, remembering I'm underwater, then peace.
