• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I can't help but find death interesting. Thinking about it makes me feel... curious. Like I can't wait to see what's actually on the other side, even though I know it's just a whole lot of nothing.

I find this nothing more interesting than existence. Existence is so boring and fundamentally flawed. I feel like I've already seen everything and that this world has nothing to offer. Existence is just an endless cycle of fulfilling need after need, and I'm tired of it.

I know that, technically, non-existence cannot be any better than existence since when I cease to exist there will be no "me" to see the benefit of not existing. But I'm still attracted to the idea of death. Just thinking about it grants me a feeling of peace.

I'm also attracted to the idea of death. I fully believe that it's permanent non existence and I don't have any sort of belief in another view of what happens after death as those views have no evidence to them. I'll only change my view on what happens after death if new evidence were to come out that disproves that death is permanent non existence and instead proves a different theory of what happens after death.

As for permanent non existence itself, this may sound far fetched but I honestly believe that it's perfection. I thought that perfection was impossible to achieve but it isn't because this is it. Like you say, there will be no "me". Also, in my case, I don't need to physically see the benefits of non existence after I die to conclude that it's good. All I need is to acknowledge that bringing non existence to myself earlier will benefit me as opposed to the counterfactual scenario where I continue to live and could potentially get something that causes me immense pain. That's sufficient enough for me to prefer an earlier death over a later one

Just wanting some peace

I just wish for non-existence as well, it's the only peace for me, personally I'd never wish for the futile and torturous burden of human existence, I personally only see never existing again as desirable, I understand feeling so tired of it all.

It's definitely weird. Weirder to me is becoming alive. Having consciousness. It's so bizarre when you think about all the creatures that have lived and died on this planet. It makes my own life feel so insignificant. Yet, at the same time, it's our whole world while we are alive.

I feel it more likely that there's just nothingness after death but yeah, that is weird to contemplate too. That one day, we'll all just disappear effectively. That our own individual perception will just cease.

Everything is cosmically pointless . In the end nothing matters or will matter . The universe will end up in a heat death eventually and none of the shit we go through will be remembered by or known by anyone.

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

Life is the worst pain and suffering u can imagine.

There is pain or suffering so bad it makes everything meaningless

that non-existence gets one out from under the threat of extreme torture forever, this alone makes non-existence the best thing and the only absolute perfection .. 1 nano second after this monstrous brain dies its non-existence forever

non-existence forever is the only guarantee of never suffering so that further makes non-existence forever the only perfection

If I had time i'd write a book "non-existence forever the only perfection"

1 minute existing in this hell is too long .

Any sentient creature can fall into a trap of unending constant unbearable pain. Think what unending constant UNBEARABLE PAIN means. One is suffering can't stand it for one second longer but u can't move away from it. Would a minute of that be too long or too short? Too long. What about an hour of the worst pain or 30 years of the worst pain: is a sandwich worth the worst torture ? No, life is hell

Nothing matters except avoiding extreme pain

It interests me, I just hope eternal recurrence isn't real because it's the worst possible result of killing yourself.

the nature of death has always fascinated me as well, its something i only truly became so fascinated with when i thought about how flames die out. I see death as something that is beautiful in the sense that it is the ultimate escape from life's pain. people cling to life as if it is a treasure yet it is only death that balances out the scale of "pain and peace" by being the only thing that truly lets people rest from the torment of life. death offers an eternity of liberation which is why it should not be something to be feared.

too, death is the only thing that is equal. really thinking about it? what does life offer? it grants you bullshit where you are forced to go through constant hellfire where the only thing that keeps you going are other poor souls who are in the same hellfire. but death? it is fair and grants the peace that you deserve - a reward in a sense.

so many are interested in what happens after death, i think personally there is nothing, but what is so bad about that? if you've ever truly listened to silence, you understand that it is not truly empty, yet peaceful and calm.

(forgive me if this sounds edgy)
